CHRISTMAS
Santa brought Owen a 'big boy' guitar! Last year Owen got a little guitar and he had played it 5 out of 7 days a week all year! So here are a few pictures of Owen rocking out Christmas morning. Paul is playing the harmonica that 'santa' brought him in the first picture...santa also brought Owen a harmonica holder so he could play his guitar and his harmonica at the same time ;)
Christmas eve continued
My mom gave Owen a Leapster for Christmas and I can't tell you what a wonderful gift it has been! Owen loves it and I'm ashamed to say that I love it even more because he's quite when he's playing it! I'm talking 45 minutes of peace and quite!!!
Happy Birthday Jesus
My mom kept Owen for me on Christmas eve since Montessori school was closed and they made a fabulous birthday cake for Jesus!
Twas the Night Before Christmas
I can't believe how fast Christmas was over!!! This was the first year Owen really understood the whole concept of 'santa' and I believe I was more excited than he was! Christmas eve we went to church for the candlelight service and then to Nonie and Popies house to exchange gifts. Then we were off to spend the first Christmas eve 'alone' since...well...ever! 'We', I've always spent the night at my moms on Christmas eve. I'll always miss and remember what it was like Christmas morning with my mom and I guess this is the beginning of a new chapter in my life...4yrs after being married! It's hard letting go.

Fall Festival
my mom's church had a fall festival a few weeks ago...there was horseback riding, hayrides, bouncy things, and lots of games for the kiddos. As usual I forgot to take my camera...these great pictures were taken by Denise Long who is a member at Trinity.
