Rockin' Baby Sling Giveaway!

I first heard about Rockin' Baby Slings from my friend Aron...didn't think much about the blog post where she mentioned how much she loved it since I wasn't in need of one at the time. Not long after I found out I was pregnant I was reading about baby wearing and I remembered her post about the sling she had found. So I searched her blog until I came across that post and then began to research the Rockin' Baby Sling...I have since been anxiously waiting to find out the sex of the baby so I can order one of these great slings. I just found a giveaway over at Simple-Review for one of these great slings! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Skateboarding fun

Paul and Owen had some fun on the longboard today riding the hill from our neighbors driveway to ours. I LOVE the expressions on their faces!!! I tried to use the video function on the camera...but it didn't work...let me rephrase that...I couldn't figure it out and it was too hot for this pregnant momma to be outside trying to figure it out.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DERRICK!!!

Yesterday we celebrated Derricks 4th birthday at the Splash Pad...well we missed the celebration part. I had my 16 week checkup yesterday, baby's heartbeat was 155. My appointment was at 2:30...I didn't see the doctor until 4:00pm!!! I had taken Owen with me because we were going straight to the birthday party which was from 3-6pm. Owen was so good! Well, as good as a 4 year old can be sitting in a doctors office for 2 hours!!! I hate that he missed most of his best buddies birthday party! We finally arrived about 5pm and there were just a few people left but Owen didn't seem to mind.

Splash Pad with the Whetstones

My mom, Owen and I went to the Splash Pad this morning with my godparents and their sweet grand-daughters, Hannah and Emerson, who are visiting with their au-pair, Adriana, while their parents are in Oregon for a wedding.

Rock On

Friday I picked Raeanne and Derrick up from school and brought them home for a little while. Once Owen got over the 'hump' they all had a great time playing together. They formed a band which Owen has named 'Rock On'.

July 4th

We spent the afternoon at our friend Tina's house. The Smiths and the Gores were there too and we all had a great time hanging out in the pool and cooking out. Of course I forgot my camera, but Tina took some pictures and hopefully she'll be able to email them to me. I know she captured a great picture of Owen jumping off the diving board. I did manage to take a picture of Paul and Owen lighting sparklers, leftover from New Years, when we got home.
