finally!!! 11:35pm this was 3:30am after Owen woke up and finally went back to sleep
derrick getting ready to go home...it's practically impossible to get both of them to be still at the same time for a picture~

Owens best buddy Derrick spent the night last night and the two of them had so much fun together! We put up a tent for them to sleep in, had every intention of an earlier bedtime than the last sleepover.....yeah, that didn't happen.....they brushed their teeth and were in the tent by 8:45, however it was after 11pm before they stopped talking!!! Think they'd sleep late? Nah...they were bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7am!

Weekend in Raleigh

we spent the weekend in raleigh with my sister, brother-in-law, and beautiful niece Gigi...we loved being with them and the kiddos had sooo much fun together! Here are a few pictures from the park Saturday morning.

Words I never want to forget

My mom is always telling me to write things down that Owen says or does. I was really good about doing that when he was a baby but as he's gotten older and life has gotten busier...I have slacked off!!! So one of my favorite things he says is ... poinkie, that's what he calls his pinky finger and toe... his poinkie! I think it's precious! Lets see, what else... he calls his harmonica a harcamonica... he calls his cubbie at school, and Awana Cubbies, cuvvie. He recently learned how to say the word three correctly and I was sooo sad. He used to say shree and one day he came home and he stuck his tongue out so far and said THREE so distinctivly and with such effort!!! It was so cute...I had him repeat it over and over again, I laughed so hard I cried!

Pony Party Continued

I think Greer and Owen had more fun playing soccer and tackling each other than they did riding Flash and Molly. Greer is tough! Look at her tackling Owen! She is such a beauty, and sooo tall! She's not even 3 yet! The last picture was taken sitting on the tree limb, with the other 20 kids, i'm not kidding, mostly cousins...my memory stick was full.

Maya's Pony Party

My friend Jennifers oldest daughter, Maya, turned 4 on Saturday. The party was lots of fun with 2 pony's, Flash and Molly, a huge tree limb that was a magnet for all the kids, and lots of family and friends!

My sister, Erin and my neice, Greer came down for the weekend. Usually they stay with our mom but we were lucky to have them stay one of the nights with us and the kids LOVED being together!!!
