Owen, Layla and I (Paul had to work, boo!) spent Sunday afternoon with some great friends! Jennifer and I have been friends for 20 years!!! Her husband Francis too, they started dating not long after Jen and I became friends...high school sweethearts! They have 3 BEAUTIFUL, SWEET girls! Owen and Maya told us they were going to get married until Francis asked if he had a job :) then they were engaged! 
If you look closely you can see sweet little Layla's face. Jen was so sweet, and her sister Colleen, to carry Layla for me so I could have a break! We were out at Francis' dad's house and they have acres and acres of land with lots of trails so we all went on a nature hike.
Jen and I were walking at the back of the pack, trying to enjoy a little bit of adult conversation, and the kids were at the front with Tall Poppa and Shooshie (the grandparents) this is what I saw, my sweet boy holding Gracie's hand! at least I think this is Gracie, it takes me a good day or two to figure out who is who!

Donna is showing Owen some tiny, tiny flowers. She has some AMAZING nature photographs!!!! She goes for a sunrise walk EVERY morning with her dog and her camera and captures the most beautiful images!!! She's wants to publish a perpetual weekly calendar that will have photographs from those actual days of the year. She has already printed 4 books of her pictures and you would think they were National Geographic! 
You have to drive through the woods maybe a half mile to get to their house and all along the drive there are cool things like this!

Okay, so Owen is such a lover! He is infatuated with kissing. He got in trouble a while back for kissing his cousin. So we had come back from our hike and had played around outside for a while when Owen asked if he and Maya could rock by themselves, if we could go inside and leave them alone....red flags going off for this momma, especially after hearing they were getting married. So I said sure but reminded Owen about getting in trouble with his cousin Greer and there would be none of that. So I hid around the corner (terrible I know!) to make sure there was no hanky panky going on and I heard Owen tell Maya they could only hold hands....
when I peered around the corner I saw this...Owen laying his head on her shoulder!!!
Then from in the house I looked out to see Maya with her arm around his shoulder!!! HOW OLD ARE THEY????? Owen told me quite a few times to quit spying on them!
I think we're going to have to keep an eye on these two! Lately when I tell Owen I love him he'll tell me that he loves me more, and I tell him no you can't love me more, you're my baby and I love you more...this goes on and on about how much we love each other. Well yesterday after TaeKwonDo this was the conversation....
