Ganga

Ganga is the little boy in India we're sponsoring through Compassion International. Owen prays for Ganga every day and has desired to sell his train table to help Ganga and his family. A few weeks back a friend of mine posted on FaceBook that she was looking for a train table so I told her about the one we had and the reason we were selling it. She came over this weekend to purchase the table (with an extra donation, thank you Hope!) and we're happy to announce that Owen sent $85 to Ganga and his family!

ready and waiting for the new owner...

packed up and ready to go...

thank you Hope, for helping Owen follow through with his desire to help someone less fortunate. I hope Thomas enjoys it as much as Owen did.

this is Ganga...Travis Cottrell shared with me at his concert, where I picked up Ganga's packet, that the clothes he's wearing, which are too big and stained are considered nice clothes and they most likely don't belong to him but are used for every child having their picture taken.

Trick or Treat

We started off the evening trick or treating at Nonni and Poppi's house, a tradition... then to a friends house for a super fun halloween party.

look at Layla walking up to the front porch, how did she get so big!?!

surprised Owen actually stopped, looked at the camera...and smiled!

looks like she's ready for her solo...
still smiling for the camera

LOVE this, Layla's head is practically in the bucket looking at bubba's candy.

awe, love this...

I love how Layla is checking out sweet baby Tess in her beautiful dragonfly costume
she'd rather eat leaves though....
and try to get the flower off her head...
the prettiest flower fairy ever...
Layla was intrigued by Spiderman, aka Makgill...

LOVE LOVE LOVE that dimple!
so many things I love about this picture, my little girl walking, the super fabulous photographer Aron, and those two cute girly girls in the background playing FOOTBALL! Little Bo Peep and Pinkalicious.
the best dressed family of the evening!
super cool family, the Joneses...thanks for letting us use your golf cart!

The Jones adopted Owen for the trick or treat hayride as Paul, Layla, and I followed in their golf cart.
the very sweet Sawyer, dressed as a Little Bo Peeps lamb
ready for some trick or treating! the super fantastic photographer Collin M. Smith up there documenting the experience.
Layla trying to love on Jude, who was eating dinner and not interested!
a brief distraction...

Layla really loved riding on the golf cart. Paul is looking behind him as we are about to get passed by Brandon's golf cart!

big night for my little baby, she was asleep as soon as I buckled her up.
Thanks Granger's for hosting such a fun party!
