Where Does The Time Go!?!

My SWEET baby girl is 9 MONTHS OLD!!! She has 2 teeth now and loves to eat real food. Just the other day she started standing unassisted from a sitting position with out having to pull up on anything, she just pops up! It won't be long before she's running through the house, I'm sure! She is now sleeping through the night. THANK YOU LORD!!! I had been sleeping in her room since she was born, just because it was the easiest thing since she nurses around 12, 3 and 6am. One night last week she refused to nurse and my first thought was that something was terribly wrong and I immediately started googling, at midnight! Well I came to the conclusion that she was letting me know she was done with the middle of the night feedings. So I moved out of her room the next night and sure enough she slept from 7pm-6am and has every night since. I know I say this every month but I really can't believe how fast this year is going by and how quickly my baby girl is growing and learning!

Here are a few pictures from her first experience in a swing! We used to have a baby swing for our swing set but I don't know what happened to it and due to the swine flu paranoia, I haven't put her in a public swing, until now. Don't you know she had a runny nose the next day!!!

Baby Needs A New Pair Of Shoes

not really, but look at how CUTE these shoes are!!! She wasn't too sure about them though. I've never put shoes on her other than to try them on.

Music In The Park

A couple of weeks ago we spent Sunday afternoon in the park listening to some great live music! Woo Hoo! I LOVE live music, especially outdoors. Owen loves music as much as Paul and I do and Layla seems to be enjoying it too!

* Owen and I were just reading his nightly devotion, Leading Little Ones To God. We were reading/talking about how God knows all things...how many stars there are in the sky, and he even knows them by name...I asked Owen if he knew the stars had names
