We made our first beach trip of the year, on possibly the coldest day of the year...but we had cabin fever and needed to get out. One of my favorite family's...my oldest bff/future daughter in law's family...has a house on the beach in Surfside.

on a side note...the other day Jen told me that Maya ran away from home, a couple of houses down...and after about 2 minutes returned because she was cold. She unpacked her backpack to find a snow globe, a glitter ball, and Owen's new school picture! LOVE IT!!!
